The Gwinnett Practical Shooting League (GPSL) is a United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) club that meets every Wednesday night at the Bull's Eye Indoor Range & Gun Shop in Lawrenceville. Click here for Directions. New shooters to our sport are always welcome. For more information, read our FAQ or contact us.

GPSL is proud to be a member of the USPSA Area 6 and to be a part of the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC). All GPSL matches are governed by the most recent USPSA Rulebooks.
More Practical Shooting In Georgia
If you enjoy our weekly indoor match you really should get out and try an outdoor multi-stage match. Within about an hour or so's drive of downtown Atlanta there are 6 outdoor IPSC clubs. Each of these puts on a great 6 or 7 stage match once a month, at which GPSL members usually make up 20+% of the attendance. These outdoor matches, come rain or shine (normally); sign in starts at 9am, shooting starts around 10am and finishes around 2-3pm. Most of these clubs run a 'first time shooter shoots free' program, so it would not cost you anything (apart from gas & ammo) to try it out the first time. Take at least 200-250 rounds of ammo with you, you might need it!
There are also two other indoor weekday matches, if you can't get enough during the week. They are both run by a friendly bunch of people, and you would be made more then welcome at each of them.

For something a bit different, Griffin Gun Club puts on a Steel Challenge match the 1st Saturday of every month. Good practice in drawing, target acquisition and accuracy. Ideal for introducing Junior to the shooting sports and developing all the fundamentals.
So, you can be shooting an organized match locally every weekend of the month, except for the occasional 5th weekend, and even then there is some shooting. |
