Sponsored by Bob Sinclair and Hosted by Fulton County Police Range

The third annual Georgia Law Enforcement Practical Shooting match will be held at the Fulton County Police Department's range, near the Atlanta airport. It is open to all current and certified retired Law Enforcement officers.

Date: August 28th (the last Sat of August.)
Time: Shooters' meeting at 9:00 am, Shooting will begin at 9:30 am
Location: Fulton County Police Department Range
Fee: $20
Range Master: Bob Sinclair
Asst. Range Master: Capt. Joe Satterfield, Cherokee County Sheriffs Dept.
Match Director: Rob Sheppard, US Air Marshall Service
Asst. Match DIrector: Alan Adamson

The Annual LE match is always fun and educational. There will be experienced, courteous and professional staff to assist shooters in all areas of this match. There also will be experienced staff on each squad acting as range officers (ROs) giving advice on shooting procedures. We hope this year to have a larger prize and awards bucket. Last year we awarded over $3000 in prizes.

Georgia's annual match for Law Enforcement Officers is the only one like it in the US.  Tell all of your LEO buddies to join us at the range! Our desire is to have as many shooters from as many law enforcement departments around the state. Help make your event more fun by bringing a friend!

More Information

The match will be 6-7 stages and approximately 175 rounds. You will want to bring extra in case you are required to re-shoot a stage. LEO shooters may dress in duty gear / uniform, or may dress casual, but may not mix. All holsters used must cover the trigger guard. The minimum firearm caliber is 9mm. You will need at least 4 magazine pouches (5 or more if you are shooting less than 15rd magazines). Holster belts must pass through at least three belt loops.

For more information on the rules of the match, you can refer to the USPSA's rulebook, which can be found on their website, www.uspsa.org

Squads will consist of up to 10 shooters, and we will make every attempt to squad shooters from the same department/unit and/or friends together.  Teams will be allowed for an extra fee of $5.00 per team member.

This year child care will be provided for those who have little ones that need to be kept occupied away from the shooting areas. If this was your weekend stuck with the kids, bring them out! It will be fun and educational, or at least something to keep them occupied!
